Another book is finished! The book was Food Rules written by Michael Pollan and illustrated by Maira Kalman. You may know Michael Pollan from his other books, like The Omnivore’s Dilemma and In Defense of Food. But for now, some quick stats on Food Rules:

The book has the same format as The New Health Rules, except the photography is replaced by gorgeous illustrations. This book is a simple read, yet it is still packed with information. In the introduction, he brings attention to this phrase:
Eat food. Mostly plants. Not too much.
And he splits the book into three sections to break down the meaning of the phrase, each section explaining a part of the phrase. There is a wide range of realistic tips that you can use anywhere, anytime! Even if you were only to follow half of his rules, you would be living a healthier life. And my favorite rule of all: Break the Rules Once in a While.
